July 3, 1913 9:05 P.M.

A short while ago, at 8:45 P.M., a signal gun was fired from behind Little Round Top and then five minutes ago, at precisely 9:00 P.M., a great salvo of dynamite guns and mortars commenced a fireworks display that is ongoing.

Jubilee officials have stated that the fireworks exhibition is scheduled to last for nearly two full hours. Veterans and spectators alike are, for the most part, absorbed in watching the magnificent display.
